Make sure to install Shockwave into your G:ZH folder, in Origin Games! It ought to work afterwards. I reinstalled Shockwave after installing the fixed launchers, just in case. Can you please help me out? Thank you very much!ĮDIT: Victory! u/SirGhostt's comment helped, but I'll explain in case it gets removed or deleted in the future.īasically, you have to download Bibber's Fixed Launchers from here, and set the command-line parameters after installing it. What do I do? I've done some homework, but the solution people recommend is installing Desura, which seems to have gone bankrupt and offline, or just isn't working for me. Picking launch, the screen goes black for a second.and gives me the usual choice between Generals and Generals: Zero Hour. I run the Shockwave launcher, and that works fine by giving me my options to choose from. Change that and it will change your res, but its kinda jury-rigged, if you open the options menu then it will change back to normal when you close it, even if you hit cancel (crashes Zero. Shockwave was the one I installed, and I think the installation went fine, except I can't start it up. Go into the Zero Hour Data folder in My Documents, and open options.ini, in there is a line that reads: Resolution xxxx xxx. I recently managed to get Generals on Origin's Ultimate Edition working, and after playing the vanilla Zero Hour for some time, decided to look at some of these mods people have been recommending. EDIT: This has been resolved, the solution is just below my question/problem, which I'll leave up for anybody's future reference.
